    same problem here

    I have the same problem in v 65.1000.13 .

I entered a long limit order at current price, and when it was filled, the DOM showed the position at about 15 ticks above the price I asked for! It also showed a matching loss. After I closed the position, I found that the order had executed correctly, but the DOM had displayed the wrong information. I tried several more orders, with similar results. I attach screenshots of the DOM for the last two, which were short orders. They also show the position about 15 ticks above where it should be, with a matching (bogus) profit.
I can supply the log file on request.

    This behaviour shocked me.

After restarting NT, the DOM shows positions correctly again.

[I originally posted this bug report under NinjaTrader Support Forum > Version 7 Beta > General Questions & Bug Reports before realising that forum is specific to Beta 7.]

      Hello splat,

Can you please download and install version 6.5.1000.14 on top of your current version.

Check if the position price will be reflected correctly.

If not, please send me your latest log and trace files and include around what time the order was filled that displayed an incorrect position price in the SuperDOM.

You can find these files at the following locations:

Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> Log--> log.20091105 for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)

Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> Trace--> trace.20091105 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)

Please send them to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com, reference this forum thread and put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header.

        upgrade procedure and implications ?

        Thanks, Jason.

What is the procedure for upgrading ?
What are the implications ? For example, will data recorded with the previous version be accessible with the new version ?
I had a quick look for an upgrade guide, but did not find one...

All data and settings will remain upon installing the new version on top of your current version.

            upgraded to 6.5.1000.14

I have upgraded NT to 6.5.1000.14, and will report if I see the bug again (do not have a way to reproduce it, regardless of version).
