Indicator...can it talk with a Ninja Strategy?

I would like to have an Indicator pass a entry order to a Strategy and have the Strategy place the order with an ATM Strategy, but have the order show up on the Indicator Chart, and allow the Order to be managed from the chart.

Is this possible natively in Ninja?

If not, can it be accomplished via external method, such as a DLL?

Why don't you just put the indicator logic directly into the Strategy to begin with?

because

because I was told that an Indicator cannot submit an order and that a Strategy will not allow Chart trade functions on the chart where it is attached.

I need to submit an order based on certain price action on the chart and that would also draw graphics a on the chart, and to have that chart be able to change and manage the order / position that was submitted.

If the Indicator could tell a background Strategy to submit the order, then the Chart with the Indicator would give a manual interface to the order that was submitted, and the subsequent position.

Correct, but you could easily make an indicator and a separate strategy that uses the same logic as the indicator.

Indicators cannot tell strategies to place orders. That is what a strategy does. Alternatively, you can just have values set in your indicator. When the strategy checks the indicator and sees a certain value, then place the desired trade.
