Automated strategy with Interactive Brokers and CL

As stated, the only version supported is 895. We would not have old versions of IB for you to downgrade to. You can try asking IB for them.

I have contacted IB and they say that Ninja Trader will have an archive with the TWS 890 version. Can you please provide a link for me.

User 'chunhaoqi' stated the issue did not occur upon using TWS version 890, so I responded to remain on this version.

doesn't work

Downgrading to 890 shows the same error - reporting to NT that it has a position in the prior month contract. I've contacted IB again and they now say:

"Unfortunately, the related change is within our server side. It is not feasible to fix this issue by downgrading to the 890 version of TWS. We have to provide a new API component in order to fix the issue."

Pity they didn't tell me this when I asked for 890 and told them why.

Is there any way for NT to up the pressure on IB to fix this? I can't believe I'm the only person trying to auto trade CL (and other energy futures) with NT.
