How to cancel an order that is placed while IB TWS is locked

Hello,

I place an order on the DOM when the TWS is locked. That is not triggered on TWS but becomes an active order on NT, and I can't find a way to cancel it on the NT. What I can do it to disconnect NT with to the TWS. Any another way to cancel the order placed by mistakes when TWS is locked?

Not sure if I follow; what exactly do you mean by TWS that is locked?

It's under the "File" pulldown there is a "Lock" function. When TWS is locked, I can still place order on the NT's DOM and it's become active order on the DOM. But the order can't be cancelled. It get stuck there unless I disconnect NT with the TWS.

Unfortunately I am not aware of a different way to cancel orders when TWS is locked.

I suggest to unlock TWS and you should be able to cancel orders as per the link in post #2.
