Strategy running - but no position

When strategy places a position and it is running. Shouldn't there be a marker in the chart? And shouldn't a position show up under the position tab? Mine does not. I see the strategy running under the strategy tab, it no marks on the chart for a open position and nothing under the position tab. Account balance is not changing either.

This is the demo account. I made sure the strategy is using the sim101 account.

placing an order when Strategy is running

So if I am running a strategy but it is not running a real position. You say I should place a one position my self. Since with Strategy running I do not have the Chart Trader how can I place an order?

I would appreciate if we could continue your case on one forum thread.

You could enter the manual order upon using the SuperDOM or an additional chart with ChartTrader enabled. Make sure the same account and instrument is selected.
