add SL and TP to an existing Chart order

I like to trade off the Chart. If I place an order and want to add a SL or TP after I place the trade how can I do that?

If you have an open position without any stop loss or profit target orders protecting it you can easily add these exit orders.
Please see a post in our support forum that outlines how to accomplish protecting an open position.

Limit and Stop

I alwasy get confused about where I should be placing a limit or Stop order so I hAVE ONLY been placine Market orders.

For the Dom, Is this true. I place a limit where I want to take profit and a stop where I want a stop loss?

In the charts I have a buy ask, buy bid and a sell ask and sell bid. I do not have a limit or stop button.

Hello,
I suggest practicing with the simulated data feed. Stops and Stop Limits are placed above the market on the left side and a Limit order is placed below the market on the BUY side. Everything is reversed on the SELL side of the dom.

For the charttrader right click on the chart and you will see your order options on the price level you clicked.
