NT Version 6.5.1000.12 does not run

Hello,

Installation was ok.

It just simply does not run. Currently, .NET Framework 3.5 with SP1. Uninstall it then install one from NT site. It did not work.

My laptop spec, 2G dual cpu, 2g ram, .net framework 3.5. running PC Security Shield, allowed NT to run from firewall setting.

No files neither /trace nor /log folders.

Should I install NT Version 6.5.1000.11 ?

please let me know if you have any suggesstion

What happens when you double click the NT icon? How far do you get before it does not work and what happens?

Nothing happens.

Watch event viewer and processs dialog in the task manager. Nothing loaded.

When I double click NT icon or .exe file, it does not even make a screen blink.

Hi,

Sorry to bother you.

I got resolved the issue. It's PCSecurityShield.

I had same problem with some other applications. Uninstalled the shield then install NT works fine. After first activated NT then installed the shield.

The shield now asks me to permit NT to access ports and internet.


I believe this shield uses BitDefender engine. It imporves alot in 2009 version with tons of new problems...
