Interactive brokers -- never works

Am I the only one who has to create a new database every time I try to add a new symbol? All I have to do is look at NT wrong and it starts to continuously "saving" with no light at the end of the tunnel. I wish this would work.. No way can I trade with this if I always have to delete databases and/ or chance a continuous save by simply adding a 1 minute chart of a future..

I have tried everything for 4 months and it never works..

Hello cctrade,

You should not have to use a new database upon creating a new chart.

Could it be you have workspaces running in the background? Please go to File-->Workspaces and close all workspaces listed below "Save Workspace As" except the Default workspace. Select the workspace and go to File-->Workspaces-->Close Workspace.

Check if the issue persists upon creating new charts in the Default workspace.

If so, please tell me how much historical data you request in the chart and if the chart has indicators applied.
