Comcast Static IP address

I'm thinking of using Comcast with a STATIC IP.
Is anyone HAPPY with their streaming data while using Comcast STATIC IP address. Any problem with slow or lost data packets?

Can't see why it wouldn't work... Why do you think it would matter?

And curious... Why are you getting a Static IP? Usually static IP's are only needed when you are running a server or gateway of some sort,..

Currently have Comcast dynamic IP and every morning during the first 90 minutes of market open, data is dropped or delayed as much as 2-4 minutes.
When the data is delayed, the candles "appear" OK but when you compare it to the computer clock, its 2-4 minutes delayed - or candles are missing so you can see that data is missing.

Based on Comcast's prior lawsuit, I wondered if they are allocating/delaying data packets because of heavy usage.

This afternoon, I upgraded to Static (which allocates more Mbs per second) so I will see what happens Wednesday morning.

Sounds more like feed issues vs the comcast net neutrality thing,
A Static ip by itself will not affect this
But the bw upgrade may help, and a new static ip may put you on a less constricted 'segment' of comcasts nw.
