EOD charts from Historical Data

Dear Team,

1. If I have historical data for GBP/USD in ticks from February 1986, can I construct daily charts from the tick data? [if yes, from what date does the daily data begin]

2. If I have historical data for GBP/USD in minutes (either 5, 10, 30) from February 1986, can I construct daily charts from the minutes data? [if yes, from what date does the daily data begin]

Hello,

1- Not without custom programming.

2- Same as above, except that you could chart a 1440 minute chart, but depending on the time you do this it will display part of two different days 1440 minutes back.

Basically you need daily data.

CAn this be supported in NT7? Meaning, given any historical database of smaller granular interval, like tick, second, or min , Once connected, referenced by NT, it will be able to automatically aggregate smaller interval to whatever bigger intrerval we like, ie. in any chart we open, we can switch to any timeframe we like and NT will automatically do the job behind the scene ?

Happen to dig into NT7 development. Quoted as follows:

Wondering if the above is what we have been talking abt this far? Right? Meaning it will be supported.
