there are no walk forward results available, since the strategy has no parameters..

After running a backtest and then an optimize - i had 10 good results - so i selected my instrument and clicked walk forwards - it dispalyed my list of properties/paramaters the same as before - except for the wlak forward specific params. I clicked do it and ... a messagebox showed up saying

"There are no walk forward results available, since the strategy has no parameters to optimise and walk forward"

so i tried it with the sample strategy: same result...

Ideas please...

the help guide was no help with this issue

Where you have Fast and Slow, you actually need to select a range to optimize for. Right now you don't have a range set out.

It says 10;10;1.
Formatting is as follows:

startValue;endValue;increment

i was under the impresison it persisted the parameter range from the optimize phase... aha I will try again...yes that was it..i was monitor blind --been at 13 hours today so far...

Fantastic NT is the nuts... My wlak forwards showed some good results - confluence with the backtest -
