Unfortunately NinjaTrader 6.5 has not been tested and does not officially support Windows 7. You can test at your own risk.

Bugs

Now that I am using this more, I am hitting a few bugs. I am NOT able to overcome the bugs with compatibility settings. I don't want to waste time posting them if you (NT) are doing your own Windows 7 testing and will be releasing an update/new version. There are some I would say are show-stoppers.

Of course, I am happy to beta test any WIndows 7 releases if that helps.

Thank you for the offer, however NinjaTrader 6.5 does not support 64 bit operating systems, therefore no testing is necessary.

With the beta release of NinjaTrader 7, development will welcome any bug reports.

Have you tried installing on virtual xp and running it within windows 7 by any chance? Would appreciate your feedback.

No; I did not try that. I have decided to sit tight and wait for the beta.

my experience with Windows 7

I have been running 6.5 on Windows 7 for about a month without any major issues. There are a few UI issues like color selectors don't paint correctly sometimes for example. Minor issue really.

I have Windows 7 x64 and though it runs, I get errors when I try to trade. Are you running x64 or x32?
