I seem like I am a pest, but when I place a trade with IB I get an error that I have to "specify an allocation (either single account, group or ...(436))". I can see where I can assign a group allocation, but not how I designate a single account. ?

sharpie, are you using the Account Groups feature? Which account do you select to execute to from the Order Entry window in NinjaTrader?

Not using account group feature. I select FX789981, my IB account, in the order entry window.

Yes to both. Using TWS 895.3 and NT 6.5.1000.12

sharpie, ok - are you using allocation profiles in the TWS? Executing to those is not supported by us unfortunately.
