Any way to force NT to fill only if price exceeded by 1 tick?

Hi...It's my understanding that in real trading you won't be filled unless your limit price is exceeded by at least 1 tick.

Many times while trading in "simulation" mode, the market will just "touch" my limit, and fill anyway.

This makes it difficult to get realistic results in testing ideas.

So, is there a way to force NT to wait until the market goes beyond my limit price by 1 tick before it fills the order? Thanks

    Hello Jugador,

    Thank you for your post.

That orders will not execute until the price has been exceeded by a single tick is not necessarily always the case.

There is not a specific setting which allows you to configure the simulator to wait until the price has been exceeded by one tick before executing. However, the simulation engine can be configured as you wish using the properties outlined at the following link: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...ulatorTab.html

Okay, thanks. I wasn't aware of that.
