NT hanging and freezing back and forth

Hi, I got my mdb at about 600mb and closed all workspace.
But, NT is still freezing here and there like few secs then comes back to normal. Freeze - normal -freeze -normal, etc.

This is no good for live trading, not robust. How to fix this?

Thank you for your post.

Go to Tools-->Options-->Misc and hit Repair DB to compact the db. Please let me know if this resolves the issue.

I did that before, and it didn't help

Hi ssg10,

You will want to rename the database and start fresh. You can do that by going to My Documents-->NinjaTrader 6.5-->db then rename the database to NinjaTraderOld.

Please make sure NinjaTrader is closed when you do this. Upon reopening a new database will be created.

To my surprise, I just did it (renaming) and db is now at 14mb something, small size. BUT, it still freezes occassionally!

What else can I do? change to j-trader?

Who is your data provider? Do you see any errors in the log tab?
