persist lines

Hi ,
How do I make lines I draw, to persist after I restart NT.


I have tried saving the template after I draw a support or resistance line. and then when I open the chart again after closing it and realodin the saved template, all my indicators etc are there but the lines disappear.

How can I make the lines "stick" to the chart or instrument or template?

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately drawn objects can not be saved to your chart between sessions and must be reapplied when restarting NinjaTrader.

I will forward this to our development team for future considerations.

Vote for persistent drawing objects

I would support adding this feature to NT. I often use a variety of markers to designate trade setups or failures and some extending into the future. Very very frustrating to see them all disappear when I must sign off and sign on.

There already is the ability to erase those I don't want when I want to erase them, so why automatically erase them when signing off?

I'm kind of confused here. Which markers are you talking about? My lines, arrow lines, arrows, triangles, text all stay on my chart if I don't remove them. You must be referring to something other than those?
