SIM 101 Acct?

I have NT open and connected to Yahoo for a data source. I placed a limit order to buy with TIF = Day order on 8/2/2009 around noon. I brought up a chart for that Instrument today 8/3/2009 and on the Instruments daily chart I can see the 8/3 bar. I was expecting that by this point the order would have filled or expired, but it is still working. When will this order against the SIM 101 account fill or cancel if it is a TIF=Day order?

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately the order will not execute while using Yahoo as a connection within NinjaTrader. This connection will only be used for charting and only generates End of Day daily bar data.

If I open my MB Trading live account will I at that point be able to use the SIM 101 account for simulation trading against all NASDAQ stocks?

I would be using a connection to MB Trading with a with a "Backup datafeed connection" = Yahoo, so I would get data streamed for the current day from MB Trading, Historical daily bars from YAHOO and I would Place trades as I outlined in the previous post to the SIM 101 account. Is this correct? Will it work for my Simulation trading?

I have subscribe to the IQData feed and my NT client is now connected should I expect the TIF=Day orders that were submitted to the SIM 101 on 8/2 to either get filled or canceled the morning of 8/4?

I am glad to hear you have created your IQFeed connection within NinjaTrader to receive live data.

I suggest cancelling the pending order from 8/2 and resubmit a new order at this time.
