my documents on a network drive

Hello support,

i found this strange behaviour when installing NT on a pc whre the "my documents" drive is mapped to a shared network drive on a NAS.

- installation is going fine..BUT...^when opening a chart, NO indicators at all are visible.

when changing my_documents back to c-drive and re-installation (first de-install. aacleanup of registry etc) it's working fine.

All registry entries map to the correct network drive. I tried installation several times, always the same effect.
Any idea what could cause that ?

One addition, maybe useful for others too
if you are using a NAS or other network attached storage, the likelyhood windows is NOT recognizing it as "intranet" is very high (UNC shares, IP addresses etc).
Thus you need to add these manually in Internet Explorers "intranet" zone
(use \\server\share) to be recognized in .net security settings.
