Fractional pips

Hi,
I'm using mbtrading as my feed; for some reason I have an indicator that require deactivation of fractional pips: it needs to work with pips.

Can this cause a bad behavious of ninjatrader receiving fractional pips even if setting is set to pips only ?

Thank you for the post.

What indicator are you referring to? You can change how the data is received into NinjaTrader by going to Tools-->Options-->Misc-->Quote FX currencies (FX) in: Set this to pips and the data that is received will not be quoted in sub pips, and thus should work without problem with your indicator.

Thanks for your answer.... but displaying a fractional feed (mbtrading) on a non fractional ninjatrader setup, won't cause any incompatibility problem ? It will just work fine except without fractionals ?

Hi Duval,

Yes, there should be no issues since the data is quoted in a manner within NinjaTrader that will conform with your indicator, even though the data is technically coming in sub pips.
