Format Data Series Unhandled Exception on startDate = lastDate

I had a chart up and decided to change the date range (while using NinjaTrader 6.0.1000.1.)

So I clicked on "Format Data Series", and changed the Start date and Last Date to both be 4/29/2007.

    I got the following error:

    <<Screen snapshot in a later posting>>

I had the idea that this might be acceptable, since having the start date = end date can be done in the Strategy Analyzer parameter screen.

I clicked on Continue, then tried again setting the end date to 4/21/2007 but NinjaTrader completely aborted about 1/2 minute later.

After restarting NinjaTrader, I tried the same sequence again but the abort did not repeat. I suggest that a friendlier message than "Unhandled Exception" might prevent such nastiness.

Is there any way to restore a prior edit?

When I edited the prior message to clarify it somewhat, this WowBB software lost the screen capture that I had of the error pop up which displayed before NinjaTrader aborted.

The pop up effectively said that there was an "Unhandled Exception" and that it was related to the condition of the last date being before the start date (or the start date being after the last date -- I don't remember how it was phrased.)

We will look into that. Please post the screenshot if you can reproduce.

        Thanks

                Great.

Now can you reproduce and press the Deatils button and paste the first ~30 lines.

                Thanks
