Crosshairs are jittery
When I have global crosshair enabled, the crosshair will jump left. Any fixes for this. I just jumps a little bit but it's annoying.Tags: None

Hello trader_rick1234,
Thank you for your post.
With the Global Crosshair feature enabled on multiple charts when scrolling the crosshair on one chart it may move the other chart to the left to keep in sync of the bar time.
Can you confirm this is not the issue you are experiencing.
I look forward to assisting you with this issue.Christopher J.NinjaTrader Customer Service

I can confirm that the problem you mentioned is not happening. I am looking at a one minute chart holding the mouse maybe 30 minutes back. My charts are wide enough to not cause syncing. I am holding the mouse in one spot (getting ready to draw a trend line) and it skips from left to right...like it wants to snap to the right-most position. I am able to draw the trendline correctly but it's a little distracting. Or sometimes I hold it over a certain spot maybe 5 minutes back at most just to see the price. It happens off and on...right now it has stopped...trying to replicate it. Will try to capture a video of it next time it happens.

Here is what I was talking about; I finally got along to capturing it.
Video one shows the cross-hair jumping when I am trying to draw a trendline with the pencil icon (F2). At about time 0:10 is when it happens noticeably.
Notice how the pencil stays in the same place, but the crosshair jumps back. This is very annoying as you can imagine.
Video two shows the chart jumping when I have moved it horizontally as I do sometimes to get a different look.
Note: the problems goes away when I disable global crosshair, but it sucks that I have to do that. Any help would be appreciated.Last edited by trader_rick1234; 08-24-2009, 08:22 AM.

trader_rick1234, I believe NinjaTrader 7 will address this as the Global Cross Hair generally was enhanced http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/NT7/NinjaTrader7.html
Enhanced Global Cross Hair
We added a chart level property "Global cross hair time axis scrolling" that when set to false, if another chart's global cross hair time axis is outside of the the visible range of the chart, the time axis will not be scrolled to the same point in time. Seconds are now displayed on the x axis cross hair label when working with tick based intervals. We have also enhanced the cross hair to support multiple series and multiple scales.
