TWS compatibility w/Ninja 6.0.1006

I need to uninstall/reinstall my TWS as thats the best Ensign can come up with to solve an Ensign connectivity problem. I dont want to lose all my stats in Ninja records. My current Ninja version is 6.0.1006. Whats the highest TWS I can install without loosing compatibility with Ninja. I'm assuming I cant up grade Ninja without losing my trading records.

I would recommend using NinjaTrader 6.5.1000.11 with TWS 892.7 as per our IB connection guide - http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/su...ivebrokers.htm

When you upgrade, you would reuse your old database file and thus keep existing records and data - to backup before doing the upgrade, please use the File > Utilities > BackUp tool.

OK thanks. The current Ninja didnt have a back up utility choice but I presume as long as I upgrade to my current directory all my data will be there.

One more question I forgot to ask. Do any of your partners have canned study/indicator plug in package for Ninja available or has it been so long they are already in your recommended upgrade version. Ive never learned how to create/build them with the scripting language.

trymph, yes that should do it - for generating a NinjaScript study in point and click manner please check out our Strategy Wizard - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...rdScreens.html

You can also realize 'indicator like' features like simply drawing on user defined conditions so you don't have to executes trades with the strategy to be able to make use of the wizard feature for strategies. You can also view the generated NinjaScript code and later unlock it for changing with the NinjaScript editor, should you develop an interest to do this later on.
