    Alert Time stamp

I am using zen-fire data, and I believe NT uses system clock to decide the candle bar close and plot the chart, and the time stamp of the candle bar on the charts looks correct to me.

I have a simple strategy that generates alerts based on the 5-min bar chart or 10-min bar chart. "CalculateOnBarClose" is set to true. The timestamp of the alerts in the Alerts window are like "3:39:43 PM", "9:44:38 AM". Since the strategy works on the bar close only, I am expecting the alert time stamp will be like "3:40:01 PM".

    Please advise.

marketstudent, the ZenFire data would be timestamped natively - for the Alerts it sounds like your local PC clock is running about 20 secs early - have you tried synching it up with an internet time server?

Do you mean that Strategy uses native data time stamp while NT chart uses system clock to draw the candle bar ?

marketstudent, no but the reported timestamp in the Alerts window is linked to your PC clock.
