ZB 09-09 question

In the AMp contract specs it says " 1/32 ($31.25)" . I'm just wondering how
this figures in terms of Ticks . What's a tick size and how many ticks equal
31.25 ?? tia .

That would be 0.25 point, 8/32.

It will take into consideration what tick size it set as per the instrument in the Instrument Manager.

To set the instruments to default, please go to Tools-->Options-->Misc-tab and click Reset Instruments.

Now this is a simulated trade but if I went short at 116,250 and my stop was
116,260 , why does it say 117,040 under Limit ?

Within NinjaTrader when utalizing an ATM Strategy a 5 point hard stop is automatically generated. This cannot be changed at this time within NinjaTrader but will be adjustable in NinjaTrader 7 which is planned for BETA release at the end of September.

This is for all instruments traded within NinjaTrader while utalizing an ATM Strategy.

will be disregarded and my filled stop will be 5 points ?

No, your 2 point stop will still be in place but if the price moves through the 2 point stop another limit order will also be in place at 5 points.

This will be completely adjustable with the release of NinjaTrader 7.

New Question on ZB

In Ninja the default exchange is Globex . With IB there is no such option . IT's
either CBOT or ECBot . What is the proper mapping in Ninja for ECBOT ? So I
can add this option to ninja because prices don't match from Globex to ECBOT. thx .

T2020, the default IB mapping for the ZB is ZB|ECBOT - this should give you the proper prices, as I just checked with the ZB 09-09 contract.

I just tried this but it is not working . Do I have to restart Ninja ? Is there a
space between the vertical bar and ECBOT ? Using TT for data / .

T2020, for IB please use the ZB|ECBOT mapping, for TT please use ZB||CBOT.

Please enter it exactly as this, no additional spaces needed.
