Bars Do Not Begin and End At The Right Time

Bars will not end and begin at the right time. e.g. My 5 min bars should end after 5 minutes but they might take 15 minutes or longer to form
I just reloaded historical data. Now I see the bars as they should be. However the bar timer is way off. Here's what I see:
60 min 24hr chart says 0:55:34 min left
60 min day session chart says 01:25:39 min left
5 min charts say 00:30:03 left
1 min charts say 00:26:17 left
3 min charts say 00:28:26 left

Therefore on all my charts I might see one bar when there should be many bars during the same time frame.

I'm using IB data and IB charts are updating on time. NT charts are not. I'm using TWS 895.3 June 3. I'm using NT 6.5.1000.8

Thank you for your post.

Please take the following steps:

1.) Install the current version of NinjaTrader (6.5.1000.11) from the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/download_download.htm

2.) Install the currently supported version of Interactive Brokers' TWS (892.7) from the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/su...ivebrokers.htm

3.) Sync your PC's clock using the steps below:
You can sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab and then click Update. Your PC clock should now be updated.


After taking the above steps, reconnect to IB and let me know if the issue persists.

Bars Update Perfectly Now. Thank-you!

My computer's clock was set to sync with 'internet' time automatically and for some reason the time was about a half hour incorrect! I unchecked this option. From now on I'll make sure my computer's time is in sync with IB's clock.

I'm also now using the versions of IB and NT that you recommend.
