IB connection issues CL

broker: IB, live trading
I use a strategy trade CL 09-09, Ninja place the order and get filled correctly, but it appears CL 08-09 on Ninja Positions Tab. I click Close position in Ninja, it result a short position for CL 08-09 in my IB account.
Cost me 100$ to flat position. Another issue associate with it is that no stop order is generated.

These issues does not exit in sim mode. Any idea?

Unfortunatelty this is a know issue. IB changed their API which made NT exhibit this behavior. In consequence we had a conversation with IB on that issue a few months ago which resulted in an IB commitment to change their TWS API so NT could accomodate for the prior API change. Unfortunately there is no ETA on when IB will implement that change.

I believe CL NG are popular instruments for active traders, if they are non tradable in Ninja+IB, we should be noticed before we lost real money on it. Are there any other similar issues with IB? Do you have a list of outstanding issues/bugs? I don’t think anyone want to read every thread on this forum before live trading. Thank you.

Unfortunately we don't have such list nor do we control unsolicited TWS API changes.
