Problems with volume bars

I have a 5000 volume bar chart set up for the s&p emini. For some reason there is a large gap in time from the last bar of the previous day to the current day. For example, for the last several days a 5000 volume bar will print around 1600 - 1700 the day before and another one won't print until 1030 or later the current day. Please help.
