IB Order Error

I get the following error from IB when trying to send a limit order:

Rejected: Orders can have only one flag Outside RTH or Allow PreOpen (437)

I am trying to send a limit order that will not expire at the end of the bar.

Any thoughts on how to handle this issue?

Hi, thanks for the post - I would recommend checking into the default order settings you have running in the TWS for this symbol. Also for IB we recommend using 892.7 as per this connection guide - http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/su...ivebrokers.htm

Thank you for your reply. Two problems.

1) I can only downgrade to TWS version 895.

2) My default order setting on the IB side will either allow me to select Outside RTH or Allow PreOpen. I have allow preOpen selected.

I have gone back through the IB connection set up and unchecked "Trigger after hours". That hasn't done the trick.

Then I would suggest downgrading to TWS 892.7 (the recommend release version) from this link - http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...nstall_892.exe
