10yrs of data

Hi:

I signed up with a 30 day trial of e-signal as they said they have 10yrs of data that can be back tested on. I am not sure if i set all teh server entries correctly, but i did connect to e-signal. However when i open my chart and select the date range it goes back the same amount of time as GAIN, 3 yrs. how do i get it to show me 10 yrs?

hifreq, please press Ctrl F on the chart to get to the 'Format Data Series' dialog box, then change the 'Range settings' to for example to the start of 1999 as 'Start date'. Then recheck if you can download more historical data with eSignal.

I know how to adjust the date range but it will still only show 3yrs. Any other ideas?

Which charts are you trying to load? Tick or time based intervals?

Then I would suggest checking with eSignal directly how much backdata they have available for the symbols and interval you need. For Gain / Forex.com using the NinjaTrader servers for historical data, I can confirm about 3 yrs for the EURUSD.

they confirmed 10 years. Additionally when teh chart loads it looks like it is going thru teh gyratiions of loading the data and shows the periods of time that it is loading but then the chart only shows back 3 years. Any chance the issue is with in ninja?
