ATM strategy and IB

Hi support,

When I place a ATM scalp strategy for 10 pips profit and 10 pips loss as shown in the attachment, why do I get closed at when I'm 5 pips in profit or loss?

I can't figure out why but this happens all the time. The only thing I can think of is that IB uses half pips but I don't know if this a factor of the problem I'm experiencing.

pa188, yes this is due to IB using the 'halfPip' setting under Tools > Options > 'Quote currencies in'. I would suggest you simply double your set stop / target values then.
