Passthrough Automated Trade Issue

I'm using the passthrough feature in an attempt to automate a trading strategy and I need to change an unfilled order from stplmt to STP and have the ability to reuse the name. The steps I believe I have to follow are 1) cancel outstanding order, 2) delete the file and 3)resubmit the order. If this is the correct way to do this, i run into a timing problem between the cancel order and the file deletion so by the time I get to resubmit the order nothing seems to happen. Is this the correct way to approach this?

yes, must cancel, then resubmit with a different OID.

Thanks, So if I understand I cannot reuse OID. I can delete the old one and create the replacement under a new name and manage the names. Is there a way or any plans to allow 2 different stretegies to be automated and active at the same time for the same instrament? For example a long strategy and a short different names. In effect simulating a breakout but without having to decide on a direction. both orders sitting in the market waiting.

Correct, need to use another OID. Yes, multiple strategies for the same instrument will be possible in V5 later this year.
