Just a word of caution regarding the IQFeed option. DTNIQ have updated their API half a year ago however NinjaTrader still uses the outdated protocol and will not update to the latest API version. This means connecting, backfilling (even just 1 day) and switching symbols (if you plan to use the same chart for various internals) is painfully slow at best and chokes NT completely at worst. This is quite unfortunate as IQF is both fast and cost effective. I use it with another charting product (who did update their API way back) and it works there like a charm.
