Barchart.com data gaps

Hi

I just read the NT7 features overview and I thank you for providing clarity. Excellent produt to look forward to.

One thing that I would ask is could you please implement the BarChart.com data fix in NT6.5, the same as you did in NT7.

From the NT7 features overview page I quote the following:

Barchart Adapter
- Updated to the latest API which supports unfiltered historical tick data
- Added support for a divisor parameter in the symbol map to address incorrect price levels where needed

I spoke with BarChart.com about some problems that I was having with their tick data, specifically gaps in the data when using NT6.5. The support person from Barchart.com indicated to me that it was a known bug in NT6.5 and that NT7 would fix it.

So, here is me hoping that you can include that fix in one of your upcoming maintenance NT6.5 releases in the very near future.

Any chance of getting the fix soon?

This is not a bug in NinjaTrader but a limitation of the Barchart API version that we are using. We have upgraded to the most current Barchart API version that provides unfiltered tick data. Unfortunately we are unable to incorporate that API into NT 6.5.
