No, NinjaTrader does not limit or influence your order size cesas. How was the exact outcome of your tests with lower size? Working as expected?

with fewer contracts sometimes work fine and sometimes not. If ninjatrader does not limit or influence the order size, NT must be capable to perform test with 200 contracts, and there are a problem with NT or something. There must be other solution instead of trade fewer contracts. The institutions that trade larger size amounts must be capable to trade with NT. Please tell me more solutions to this.

cesas, were you getting the same error codes as previously as you reduced your order size? Please test this with a as simple as possible strategy (SampleMACrossOver provided per default) and also enable TraceOrders in the Initialize() to debug this further - http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ead.php?t=3627

Thanks cesas, I would suggest to rework the setup IB connection. Delete it under Tools > Account connections and then go to Tools > Options > Misc and Repair the DB. Then recreate the connection fresh exactly as shown in this guide - http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/su...ivebrokers.htm

Then retry the order placement with the sample strategy I provided.
