    Tick Data

    I'm using the free forex feed from Gain Capital. Am I right in saying that for real time data coming into NT I have tick data available?

    Also the historical data is supplied by NT and tick data is not available?

    Yes, you have real time tick data coming in from GAIN/Forex.com.

    Yes, historical data is supplied by NinjaTrader and historical tick data is available when using the NinjaTrader servers.

      Ok , I wasnt sure if historical tick data is available but thanks for confirming that it is.

          Yes, to setup your connection to use the NinjaTrader servers for historical data please follow the steps I have provided below.
          • Disconnect from your GAIN connection
          • Next go to the Control Center
          • Tools
          • Account Connections
          • Select your GAIN connection
          • Change
          • Next
          • enable Use NinjaTrader servers in the Historical Data area
          • Next
          • Next
          • Finish
          • Reconnect to your GAIN connection
