Programming multiple trading times

Again, I am very new to the ninjascript platform so please bare with me as I have been searching the forum high and low with no luck. How do I program a strategy to begin each trading day at let's say 9:45 and then stopping during another time period like say 12:00 to 1:00pm then continuing on till the close. For that matter what type of code would you recommend for avoiding a flat period. Thank you for your help.

Thanks Josh. In regards to dealing with flat/sideways periods. what type of approach should can I take in regards to indicators or scripting? Thanks again.

Unfortunately I would not know. It is up to you and your trade ideas for how you would handle sideways price movements.
