    Strange connection

    Hi,
    I open NT and have only "Control Center" open. No charts, nothing.
    When I connect to PFG I get pop up windows which say retrieving data for "ES 06-09" then for "YM 06-09" then for "TF 06-09" and "ZB 09-09".
    Why??? How come for 3 instruments it tries previous contracts? Why? Why??

    Hello Baruch,

    Thank you for your post.

    Please confirm you have rolled over your ES, YM and TF to the 09-09 expiry.

    If you have not please follow the instructions below to rollover the expiration date of a futures contracts.
    • From within the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
    • Highlight the contract you wish to rollover in the left side of the Instrument Manager window
    • Press the ">" button (the instrument will disappear from the list)
    • Press the "<" button and the instrument should re-appear with the front month expiration date

    Please let me know if you still experience the same issue with the 06-09 instruments removed from your Default list.

      Hi Cristopher,
      First I did roll over on all instruments, but this was not the question.
      Why on connection Ninja tries to load data for instruments if I have no charts open? Why those instruments witch I don't even have? But mostly why any instrument if as I say again I have nothing open except "Control Center".
      Please no bull****.

      Attached is my instrument list. Please pay attention that I only have "Default" folder (the folder is open) and you can see all my instruments.
      Not that it should make any difference.

        Baruch, please use appropriate language when posting on our forums - Thanks!

        Please check which workspaces you load at startup by going to File > Workspaces and checking the entries listed under 'Save workspace as', you can also cycle through open ones by pressing Shift and F3.

        I suspect there's another workspace open containing charts or Market Analyzer entries for those expired symbols.

          I apologize for what I said.
          I understand that you hired new consultants, but I asked one question and got an answer for something different (and trivial) and it frustrated me.
