Data "fluttering"

7 AM EST and on two different pcs ES or YM...DOM prices fluttering all levels...can't be lots of data - there's no volume.


All levelels changnig back and forth and unreadable???

Hello VinnyB,

Can you please tell me what data feeds you were connected to on both PC's?

I tested on my end and it looks like expected, see screenshot. The chart uses MT (Mountain Time), 2 hours difference from EST.

These instruments are traded almost the entire day. Please see the session times at the link below.

Confused. It's not the charts. It's the DOM.

Connected to AMP/Dorman.

All price levels of DOM periodically go through VERY quick changes:

10>>5>>3>>7>>21>>34: that would be one level. Too quick to read. It does all levels at the same time. Can't tell what the prices are and sometimes when it stops, the bid/ask has moved up/down.

I've actually only seen this more during low volume than high volume.

Though it was some kind of "bot", but ALL levels?

It's not causing a REAL problem...yet.
