Macd Crosover

Dear sir,

Greetings from Malaysia
I am trying to construct a simple automated trading system. I want the system to buy when the Macd crosses above the Average.


CrossAbove(MACD(12,26,9), MACD(12,26,9)Avg,1)

this code does not work.

I also want to sell when the Average crosses below the MACD.

The cross over instruction is faulty. Request your assistance to fix it.

Hello,

The CrossAbove method works fine for me. Try inserting this code right after the condition to CrossAbove and apply the strategy to a chart to see where the strategy is triggering: (If that does not help post your code and I will assist you further.)
