MBTrading Disconnect

Every night at 11:00, MB Trading shuts down for maintenance. My ninja trader goes disconnected predictably, but at 11:10 when the signal is back, my ninja trader does not reconnect to it. It seems that I am always in the middle of trades when this occurs, so instead of ninja trader just handling the trades, I am forced to restart ninja trader and the strategies and exit my trades manually. Is there anyway to make ninja trader not have to shut down after disconnection for nightly maintenance? A little white box appears that does not respond. The log simply says "disconnected from perm server" or whatever... nothing telling. Can anybody tell me what this problem could be and if there is a way to fix it?

JamesF, unfortunately this is expected - after you got disconnected for maintenance you would need to restart and reconnect. NinjaTrader 7 will offer features for enhancing strategy persistence across trading sessions.

Thank you Bertrand, that is helpful and I think I can work with it. Is there at least anyways to make my strategies automatically exit all open trades before 11 when maintenance begins?

You will have to self program that into your strategy. Check the time and when it is what you want, close your positions.

What is the syntax I would need to put in the strategy to accomplish that or where can I find examples of this?
