no daily, weekly or monthly charts but x minute charts available

i am using zenfire demo and can get x minute charts going back 3 months but i get a blank chart when i specify daily, weekly or monthly time intervals. any idea why?

Thank you for your post.

Because Zen-Fire does not provide daily data, you would need to simulate the daily chart using minute data.

For a daily chart, use a 1440 minute chart. For a weekly chart, use a 10080 minute chart and so on.

Dates on X Axis

Hi Kyle,

When I bring up a 1440 minute chart (to simulate daily) I only get the date shown on the X axis on the most recent bar.

Is there any way to get the dates painted on the X axis for all bars ?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader support forum!


Unfortunately, this is expected behavior and there is currently no work-around available. That said, if you use the data box in the chart, moving your mouse over any of the 1440 minute bars in that chart will allow you to display the date in the box.
