Control Center>New Strategy vs New Graph

When in the strategies tab in control centre and i select new strategy, sometimes I don't get a position (eg. 1 Long) but when I go to New Chart, Add stategy and tick all the same options, the new strategy gets the position. When I do it through New Chart, it produces the right result ie. a 1 Long position. Why do the two produce different results.

Also, i made sure it fulfils the minimum bar requirement (at least from the number of bars i see on the chart)

The strategy applied in the chart will be calculated on all historical data present in the chart, which can result in a strategy position. Please see the link below for more information.

The strategy initiated in the Startegy-tab will use the default chart look back setting to be calculated on historical data.

Most likely, the amount of historical data as per the two strategies were not the same.
