Editing Future Symbol for Coffee

I use the IB data feed. I want to chart Coffee Nymex - KT at IB.
I only find KC in predefined database of Ninjatrader.

Therefore I tried to ad the Symbol myself. I want to chart the KT Symbol traded at NYMEX and not KC at NYBOT.

I get always connection errors Symbol not found. But IB workstation has the symbol!! It´s KT (U9). But under Ninja edited KT 09-09 Nymex this can´t be found.

Where is my mistake?

Can you provide me with more information about this instrument and let me know what settings you are using so that I may test on my end?

If You search inside the IB Workstation for Coffee Futures you get 2 options :
1. Symbol KC (NYBOT)
2. Symbol KT (Nymex)

If I search inside Ninja Trader I only get the KC symbol. Therefore I thought to create KT by hand. I filled in the IB Symbol (KT) the multiplier (3750) and the exchange (Nymex).

Unfortunately this will not load the data corecctly. Instead I get the error message that the symbol can´t be found.

But in IB Workstation I get the data and the symbol and the IB chart without error.

So there must be something wrong in my editing the symbol inside Ninja.

What could that be? Should not the correct IB Symbol and exchange and expire date be enough to identify the datastream correctly?? What else is missing?

Also please refer to this post so we know it's from you.

We will then attempt to set up the contract on our end and response with the correct settings.
