IQ Feed

I have recently signed up for IQFeed for my backtesting data. Right now when I connect to IQFeed sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn't. It shows that I am connected but when I am in strategy analyzer and I go to run a backtest it comes up as zero results. My instrument manager is all set to iqfeed so it should be reading. Like I said sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn't.

Pete, which IQ Feed client software version do you use? Does the chart for the symbols you try to backtest on comes up properly?

I am running the most updated version of IQfeed, I just signed up with them a couple days ago. The charts are coming up properly.

Ok, then please try this - open the chart for needed backtesting date range. Check if the data all displays properly and if yes, disconnect from IQ and do run the backtest in the Strategy Analyzer. Does this work for you?

that didnt work.
The last hour everything was working fine and then it stopped working with the strategy analyzer

Pete, do you see this for all instrument you've tried backtesting on? Do you see any errors in the log tab of the Control Center?
