    connection

    Sometimes when I go to connect my NT to IB it says it is connected but its not turned green and is not connected.
    Is there a way to fix this? I have been trying to connect all morning with no success.

    Hello Pete,

    Thank you for your post.

    1.) Please make sure you are on the latest version of NinjaTrader 6.5.1000.10. You can check under Help --> About.
    If not, please download from this link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/do...g_software.htm

    2.) Make sure you are on the supported TWS 892. If not, uninstall your current version and install TWS 892 from this link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/su...ivebrokers.htm

        Please try the following:
        1.) Remove your connection: Tools --> Account connections --> (your created connection) --> remove.
        2.) Repair your database: Tools --> Options --> Misc --> Repair DB.
        3.) Restart NinjaTrader and create a new connection using the connection guide: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/su...tionguides.htm

          Is there any reason why Ninja has been so temperamental lately? It seems every day I come into work turn it on and there is a new problem. Yesterday it connected properly and today it didn't. When does NT7 come out? I have been reading similar complaints on elite trader with the anticipation that NT7 will be solving some of these annoying issues.

            Not sure why you are having those connection issues. If they get worse or other issues appear, please keep me posted.

            NinjaTrader 7 beta release is scheduled by the end of June.
