Data Historical and R/T setup

I have been using eSignal for my charting and CONNECT that first and then CONNECT TT for trading live.

However, I would like to use eSignal as only a "backfill" to fill holes in data when I am not connected to TT so that my charts reflect the TT proces in real time.

What changes do I need to make on my TT connection and what order should I CONNECT the two feeds?

Just connect to eSignal to backfill your charts, then disconnect from it. Then connect to your TT connection to get the realtime data and execution.

There's going to be a gap during the changeover, albeit a small one as it takes a bit of time to fill and refreshh all the charts.

Is there no way to configure this with both feeds being connected all the time?

Unfortunately I'm not aware of another solution. If you enable historical data in your TT connection, it should also backfill the small hole from switching connections.
