Using Market Analyzer with Strategies

Hi All,

Can you set up a market analyzer to scan and select equities then use these equities in the list within your own custom strategy? Is there a way to do this two part process? or is there a way to do this live in the main strategy?

How would you do this?

Hi Mindset, unfortunately not - but you could do the scanning and selecting process in a MultiInstrument NinjaScript strategy - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...struments.html

For a sample, you can also review the 'SampleMultiInstrument' strategy installed per default.

So the system code in C# can basically create a basket of stocks given a certain criteria from the DOW Jones? eg. it selects 10 stocks that have moved the most in the last 10 mins? then place orders on that basket? all in real time? do you have any examples on how to do this?

Hi Mindset, yes but this will require advanced custom coding to be realized.
