How to store and reload tick data?

Hello,

I trade with IB and use indicators like BuySellVolume. As far as I know this uses tick data. Whenever I exit, or change the settings in indicators, all data on the BuySellVolume will be gone away.

Can I store this kind of data, and reload them when I reconnect etc?

NinjaTrader Converts Real-Time Data into Historical Data
NinjaTrader stores real-time incoming tick data to your local PC if you have a Chart or Market Analyzer (must have an indicator column added) window open. This data can then be used as historical data. For example, if you open a chart and let it run all day long, the data collected today, will be available as historical data when you open the same chart tomorrow.



Does it mean NT can store real-time tick data on the chart e.g. candlesticks, but NOT on the INDICATOR WINDOW?

I have enabled "store real-time bar data."

It works for the bar chart, but not for the indicator window.

Is there a way to store the data for the indicator window?

Hi pipal, unfortunately not for indicators that need the historical bid / ask data like in your example.
