indicators not reflected on chart

I'm new to ninjatrader & just downloaded the platform. I've added a couple of indicators to the chart I'm viewing (5-min. mini s&p). One of the indicators is already a part of ninjatrader. The other indicators are custom buillt. The problem is that the name of the indicators appear on the chart but the indicators themselves are not reflected.

Please let me know what I'm doing wrong.

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately we don't provide support for 3rd party indicators/software. You would need to contact them if there's an issue with their indicators. We are not qualified to assist since this is something that is developed outside of our software.

I understand not supporting 3rd party indicators however, I'm unable to get ninjatraders custom built indicators to even reflect on the chart. For instance, the bollinger band indicator, I see the name of the indicator at the top of the chart but the chart of the mini s&p doesn't reflect the bollinger band indicator. Same thing for the ADX indicator.

Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Can you please send me a screen shot of your chart to support at sign ninjatrader dot com and please put Attn: Chris in the subject.

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

ninjatrader indicator problem

I'm trying to send you a JPEG picture of the screenshot reflecting these indicators not being reflecting on my chart however, the size is 128KB when ninjatrader only allows a max size of 977KB for JPEG files.

Please advise.

Hi traderboy123,

It appears you do not have enough historical data to calculate the indicators you have applied to your chart.

If you would like it to calculate with less bars please go to your chart properties and set Show unstable period for indicators to True and click ok.
