MB Trading Forex

So i've got a MB Trading Demo Account up and i'm having trouble getting NT to work with it.

1) my instrument name for usdjpy on NT is $USDJPY on MBT they use USD/JPY, how do i get it so i can see the MBT usdjpy feed?

2) MBT quotes in tenths of a pip, how do i adjust NT to show the extra digit?

3) MBT has way more order types then i've been working with in strategy development, is there anyway to access these other order types. Also the orders on MBT don't conform to the rules within NT i.e. i can place a limit order to buy at price greater then the current offer, will NT allow me to enter these orders with NT from a strategy?

Hi,

1) Locate and highlight the USDJPY contract in the middle section of the Instrument Manager. Then click the '<' button to move it to your default instrument list and click OK. Now open up a Dynamic SuperDOM and select the currency.

2) What you might want to try to is change the tick size of the instrument. You can do this by locating and highlighting the currency in the instrument manager, then click Edit to open up the Instrument Editor. In the editor change the tick size.

3) What order types are you talking about. We only support Market, Limit, Stop Limit and Stop Market orders

Thanks, I got it up and working. Got a few more questions:

1) with the tenths of a pips displayed as 99.23'2 in the NT GUI how does it work in a strategy i.e. would a strategy GetCurrentBid() return 99.232?

2) is there anyway to get MBT's swap rates within NT? In MBT explorer they tied to each instrument are listed as BUY PREMIUM and SELL PREMIUM?

This is correct darckeen - unfortunately we don't support the swap rates.

One more question in the FX Pro window the book shows up fine but in the middle part below the book and above the order entry where you have the position stats there is no inside quote in large font like in the image in the help docs. Instead that area is just blank, anyway to fix this?

Also what does the button labeled "BE" do?

Hi,

1) Unfortunately there is no way to change this

2) It adjusts all orders to Breakeven (left click) or strategy stop loss orders (middle click)
